Overview
Wild Goat Coin (WGC) is designed to function as a single, unified asset across multiple blockchain networks.
When you “bridge” WGC, you are not swapping or wrapping the token. Instead, you are transferring WGC between chains using LayerZero’s interoperability infrastructure.
Under the hood, WGC transfers follow a burn-and-mint model:
- WGC is burned on the source chain
- The same amount of WGC is minted on the destination chain
- Total supply remains consistent across all supported networks
This guide walks through how to transfer WGC between supported chains using Stargate, a LayerZero-powered interface that abstracts this process into a simple, single-step flow.
If you are using a mobile wallet (such as Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask Mobile), open Stargate using the wallet’s built-in app browser.
What you’ll need
- A supported wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet)
- WGC on a supported source chain
- A small amount of the source chain’s native gas token (e.g. ETH)
Bridge WGC using Stargate
Go to Stargate
Visit https://stargate.finance in your web browser.
Always verify the URL before connecting your wallet.
Connect your wallet
Click Connect Wallet in the top-right corner and select your wallet provider.
Ensure your wallet is connected to the source chain where your WGC is currently held.
Select source and destination chains
- Choose the Source Chain (where your WGC is now)
- Choose the Destination Chain (where you want your WGC to arrive)
Only chains where WGC is officially deployed will work correctly.
Select WGC and enter an amount
- Select WGC as the asset to bridge
- Enter the amount you wish to transfer (or use MAX)
(Optional) Adjust advanced settings
You may optionally:
- Add gas on the destination chain
- Choose between Fast (higher cost, quicker finality) or Economy (cheaper, slower) transfer modes
For most users, the default settings are sufficient.
Confirm the transfer
Click Transfer and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
The cross-chain transfer will begin immediately.
Track your transfer
After confirming, a transfer tracker will appear in the Stargate interface.
Click it to view detailed status information on LayerZeroScan, LayerZero’s cross-chain explorer.
Important notes
Bridging availability depends on the interface you use. Not all supported WGC chains are currently reachable via a single bridge UI.

Not all routes are available via Stargate.
While Stargate supports most WGC transfer paths, some chain combinations are not yet enabled. -
Alternative bridge interfaces may support different routes.
For example, Superbridge currently supports certain routes (such as BNB Chain ↔ Base) that are not yet available via Stargate. -
Wallet-native bridging is expected to expand over time.
As LayerZero and Superchain interoperability mature, more self-custodial wallets are expected to introduce native, in-wallet bridging flows for supported assets like WGC, likely making the process much more seamless. -
Advanced / developer options exist.
Developers can interact directly with LayerZero to transfer WGC between supported chains without using a consumer-facing bridge UI.
This approach is not recommended for non-technical users.
