Supply
A live breakdown of WGC’s circulating supply across all supported chains.

Overview
Wild Goat Coin’s supply has evolved over time as the project transitioned from an early-stage experimental memecoin into a decentralized, omnichain currency protocol.
Rather than maintaining a fixed supply from inception, WGC’s supply has been intentionally restructured multiple times to address earlier challenges and align the protocol with long-term sustainability.
WGC’s final supply structure utilizes a unified supply model introduced with the V3 upgrade, with a total supply of 4B tokens, to be reduced further over time via deflationary mechanisms.
Current Supply
WGC exists simultaneously across multiple blockchain ecosystems using native interoperability infrastructure. As a result, circulating supply is distributed across chains rather than residing on a single network.
The data table above tracks the latest recorded token balances across supported chains, sourced directly from on-chain explorers. Because supply is distributed across many networks and updated continuously, the figures presented should be considered near-real-time estimates, not a fixed snapshot.
The combined total across all supported chains represents the best available approximation of current circulating supply at any given time.
History
Late 2023: Wild Goat Coin launched on Solana with an initial supply of 69.42B tokens
April-May 2024: A liquidity incentives program was exploited, releasing 600M+ tokens into the market while draining a significant portion of project USD liquidity
May 2024: Project relaunched as WGC V2, reducing supply to 18B tokens
April 2025: WGC V3 launched with a unified omnichain-native architecture and 5B total supply
October 2025: A structural supply reduction reduced total supply to under 4B WGC, establishing the current supply model
Final Tokenomics
Finalized as part of Wild Goat Coin's October 2025 restructure:
~50% of supply already distributed
~40% allocated to permanently locked core liquidity pools
~10% retained by the development team
Burned WGC
WGC supply reductions have/can occur through a combination of explicit burns and permanently inaccessible addresses, depending on the underlying chain architecture.
On Solana, burned tokens have been permanently removed from circulation at the protocol level
On EVM-compatible chains, burned tokens are sent to irrecoverable addresses
Additional per-chain references and burn tracking will be added as tooling and dashboards are expanded.
Total Supply Chart
The supply and market capitalization chart displayed below highlights historical structural changes in WGC’s supply rather than tracking ongoing changes following the October 2025 buyback and burn implementation.
At this time, these charts are intended to provide historical context and should be interpreted alongside the live per-chain supply table for the most accurate view of current conditions.
